Evaluating the HITSystem to Improve PMTCT Retention and Maternal Viral Suppression in Kenya
A cluster randomized control trial that assesses the impact of the HITSystem 2.1 to increase complete PMTCT retention (appointment attendance, medication adherence, hospital delivery, routine viral load testing) and viral suppression through six months postpartum. Using the RE-AIM model, it also evaluates implementation to guide sustainable scale up and a cost-effectiveness analysis to inform costs and potential savings.
